Welcome to round two, because once a year Prime Day isn’t enough. Amazon UK has lowered prices on a wide range of products in preparation for 48 hours of shopping. Here are some of the best smartphone (and smartwatch) deals we found.
Apple has stopped selling the iPhone 13 Pro model with the launch of the 14 Pro replacement. And while the 2022 model is a solid upgrade, you might be a little hesitant given its price. You can get the iPhone 13 Pro (256GB) for £980 (note that only some colors are eligible for the promotion). For comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro (256GB) costs £1,210.

A larger iPhone 13 Pro Max (1 TB model) is also part of the process and can be purchased for £1,380 (or slightly higher for certain colors). Unfortunately, this is a good choice if you need to transfer a large amount of data but don’t want or can’t use cloud storage.
Apple has lost faith in the mini form factor, but not everyone does. It’s not the latest iteration, but the iPhone 12 mini (256GB) is available for £610. Unlike the Pro, the iPhone 13 mini is still available, but the 256GB unit costs £760. You can also buy a silicone case for the 12 Mini (with MagSafe support) for £30 or a silicone case for the 13 Pro Max for £30.

If you’re in the smartwatch market, last year’s Apple Watch Series 7 (41mm, GPS) is available for £340 and the 45mm model is £360. If you want cellular connectivity, the Watch Series 7 41mm device starts at £370. apple watch series 7
There are several cheaply available Samsungs with 5G connectivity. The Galaxy A53 5G has been slashed to £250. Some people prefer the Galaxy A52s 5G because it comes with a Snapdragon 778G (rather than the Exynos 1280), but costs an extra £300. , with a 108MP main camera (vs. 64MP) and a Dimensity 900 chipset that can be purchased for £340. Galaxy Buds Live £99 bundle and SmartTag+ (the one with UWB) can equip your new phone. What do you think of the Pixel 7 series? If it doesn’t look like a huge upgrade, here are some deals from the previous generations. It’s pretty simple. Pick up your phone and the Pixel Buds A are inserted.
The Pixel 6 (128GB) has been slashed to £475, while the Pixel 7 can be pre-ordered for £600. The Pixel 6 Pro comes with a telephoto camera and a 120 Hz display and costs £725 (128 GB). Finally, there’s the £350 (128 GB) cheaper (and still with Tensor and 5G connectivity) Pixel 6a. Google Pixel 6 • Google Pixel 6 Pro • Google Pixel 6a
The Sony Xperia 1 IV paired with WH-100XM4 noise-cancelling over-ear headphones is available for £1,150, which would set him spending £1,150 on the phone alone if purchased from Sony’s official store. These are some of the best ANC headphones money can buy. You can buy an older Xperia 1 III for £850, but I’m not sure it’s worth it as this model doesn’t have headphones.

If you want it cheaper, the Xperia 10 IV is down to £350. This mid-ranger packs a near-clean Android, a 2x telephoto camera, a 3.5mm jack and microSD slot, and a 5,000mAh battery in a body that’s just 67mm wide. Sony Xperia Pro I
It’s not the latest model, but the OnePlus 9 Pro is still a very capable phone, starting at £500 (this is for the 8/128GB model). Its sibling, his OnePlus 9, is down to his £370 (8/128GB), not a bad price for a Snapdragon 888 phone.
It certainly sounds better than spending £350 on the OnePlus Nord 2. If you want something cheaper, the Nord CE 2 is probably the £200 option. Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro
The Amazon Prime Early Access Sale runs for two days starting today and you can find all deals here, not just smartphones. A Prime subscription is required to get the prices listed (Tolkien fans can watch The Rings of Power on select phones).
